Panoramic Sunroof Issues

Hello Everyone,
The sunroof was not operating "vent mode" properly....basically the glass opened up the "vent position", but the shade did not open, so I did the "sunroof initialization procedure" and I heard 2 clips break in the rear:

, so now it looks like I have to replace those 2 broken clips? The glass portion operates properly, its just this sunshade. What I do know is that if it happened like this, then the previous mechanic on this car DID NOT PROPERLY install the sunshade portion.
Update: Reseated the clips (

), but now everytime I push the shade all the way back, those clips unseat...the glass portion properly opens and does tilt properly....wondering how the previous mechanic was able to make the shade go all the way forward, and back enough to not unseat those clips....although vent mode didn't work that time. Is there a way to just edit the end position to be more forward and the rear position to be less back?
