Sounds like the mod does sound different on idle and low rpm. In person is it louder when u hit vacuum 3000RPM or sounds just as loud when flap opens?
Yes, the flap was designed to open when you go over 3k RPM. Since I kept the flap open, the sound at idle and up to 3k RPM will come from both exhaust tips so it does sound louder. After 3k RPM, it will sound the same as if I didn't do the mod to keep the flap open since both stock and modified will be open. At low revs, it does sound louder than stock and has a more throatier growl, kind of like the Infiniti FX35

Nice, I'm gonna attempt this and make a vid with GoPro. I have BurgerTuning stage1 box so when I boost up and shift I get a nice M sound pop burp - DONT know who to explain it but I love it

Awesome, I have the Stage 1 tune as well. I'm planning on making another video with the camera near the middle of the car so I don't get too much wind noise

Hi everyone
very interesting, I will also do it on my 35i e70, but one question, do you still leave the tube connected to the valve? Thank you
