2011 X5 50i M-Sport Pk First Mods
Hi Guys,
Can you suggest a good vendor website for these mods? 1- LED angel eyes -----> Thinking on buying the H8 160 from LUX. 2- Side reflectors. 3- Performance black kidney grille ---> I haven't find one less than $73 each. Thanks.

I just bought painted side markers from iND last week. Should have them end of this week. As for the grills I think ECS Tuning has a set for cheaper though not sure about the quality.

I just bought the 160 lux angel eyes directly from lux angels eyes, cheaper than their price on Amazon I guess because they have to pay amazon fees when sold on Amazon.

2. Get them from IND but send them your VIN as they delayed my shipment cause they didn't have my VIN. 3. eBay has black grilles OEM for $120shipped http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-E70-E71-...0f83af&vxp=mtr |

The performance black kidneys make a massive difference. I got mine from ECS but there are the OE bmw ones. They cost more but have the rubber gaskets that seal the air entrance to the inner openings where the after markets do not. They do look great though.

Was at the dealer yesterday picking up a regulator for my E46 and ended up bringing home a set of BMW performance grills. I have a good relationship with a couple guys at the dealer so they hooked it up at $66/side. Also picked up a BMW sunshade for only $48. Anyways now that I have the BMW performance grilles I'd highly suggest them.

You are right. Inner ring to bright and outer too soft. Still I prefer it than yellow one. At night will be better.

1. Lux
2. IND if you want a perfect paint match 3. ebay, cheaper if you just buy spray paint and do it yourself i suppose. If you need official BMW versions, then you're going to pay more than $73.

Your E90 looks like it has LED angels eyes (not the bulbs, but a retrofit?)…they look really good. What setup do you have?
You're in Miami…you have OSS designs local. I don't think they do anything for the X5 but you could at least check in with them to see? |

Actually they are just the bulbs, Mtech ones from 5 years ago. The actuall problem with the x5 is the angel eyes design, thats what i heard. I guess i can check to see if the do oss on the x5.

No bulb, LED or otherwise, will duplicate the OEM LED corona eye look on a 2012+ X5, F30 3 series, or E92/E93 LCI coupe. |
