BMW X5 E70 30sd Alpina flash?
Hello there, is there a possibility to flash my E70 with alpina? I would like better gear shifting. I am aware of xhp, but its too expensive.

XHP expensive? I paid about 300 euro’s for it, ok it’s money, but it’s a proven concept.
I got it after chipping the engine (N55) so the transmission can better handel the extra torque. I have an 8HP, and it drives fine now. |

First I'd like to try if I could do it for cheap. Why pay 300 euros if there is a possibility that I could do it for a lot cheaper. If there is not a single cheap solution then I'd have to get it. 300 euros is a large amount of money, atleast for me. I do have one question though. Is the license for multiple cars or can you only use it on one car?

I didn't realize Alpina ever commercially touched an e70. Have you tried reaching out to them? Also, Alpina isn't known for being inexpensive.

My two cents are, not fouling around an expensive high tech car, let experinced people do that, they know what they are doing. It’s for one car only, they have different setups, I got the expensive one. Also there is a tool that could be used with an app. ( not shure if that works on an 8HP) If you go to a good tuner, they can install it, so you can test it first. |
