How can you tell if your truck is running hot? Obviously there is no temp gauge which I find ridiculous, even on the X5M.

as far as Oil filter goes Mahle on one of the best brands out there, sometimes I have to wait for that filter to be available at the supplier. Sorry for u bad experience with the brand but I'm assuming it was a bad one (as it happens sometimes with any brands)

Yea, probably I wasn't lucky that time, agree with you on Mahle brand, because before I used other Mahle products and filters on my other cars and never had a problem.
