codes codes and more codes
Hey everyone,
on the way home from work last week my check engine light came on. my foxwell died so had to borrow an autofix for bmw. have a couple questions in general as well. background: -2012 X5d 130k miles -stage 1 tune(don't know the tune, the original owner was suppose to send me the info but never did after the sale) -just had an inspection and let the shop do an oil change about 2,200 miles ago -had the battery tested in Aug, all numbers were as new. the only con is the age of the battery -my CA door handles stopped working bout 2 years ago but it had never drained my battery so never bothered me and left a lone. 1. should i get another foxwell or protools or bimmerlink and bimmercode? 2. think its safe to delete the codes and drive to see if they come back? 3. should i force a regen? last regen bout 2,200 miles and 2 days ago. wonder if something was done at the shop to trigger this based off the mileage of last regen and inspection. i drive 500-1000miles a week 4. does my car still do regens(stage 1 tune)? 5. front pads/rotors replaced in Aug 6. should i disconnect the door handles?
