I have been looking for the same set up myself. Take a look at the Niche Nuremberg, as it is about $1600 + rubber.

Check out vertini wheels. Only problem from what i see is that the tires will push you over your $3k budget. I now the vertini magics that im looking to buy soon are $2500 for the wheels and the tires run approx 550-700 per...

Hope this helps

There are a couple options out there. They will be cast wheels, though.

The golden rule applies... You have to pay to play. You are not trying to buy both 22" rims AND the 22" tires for $3K, are you? If that is you objective, you might as well write that one off.

There was a guy trying to liquidate some in-stock True Forged rims for a reasonable price ($2,500 I think) on bimmerfest so take a look there to see if those are something you might like.

I'd rather stick with an OEM wheel. I don't trust any of these wheel companies listed and don't want to put my $60,000+ vehicle at risk... Just my $.02...

help me out with the names please. as long as they are not chrome...i had 24" TIS and nitto tires on my tahoe, they were cast, with no problems. no bends, required very little weight to balance and a smooth ride. only downfall was their weight increased braking distance slightly...

as far as forged wheels go, 3k seems to be about right for a used set. i have at least 4 months of snow coming so there is no rush. hopefully some pop up...seems like the higher end stuff has its fair share of problems too. seen some hre's and some forgestars both with bends in them for sale.

I think they would look good. Getting a Forged wheel under the price is going to be difficult....
