CTEK Battery Charging
There are times I don't drive for almost a week, so I hook my '11 3.5i 47k miles up to a CTEK charger. After 24 hours, the indicator still doesn't show "fully charged". Shouldn't my battery be fully-charged after that long? It's about three years old. Are there other CTEK users? what has been your experience?

Which CTEK do you have? Which step is it getting stuck on?
My battery is about 5 mos old, and the last time I used my CTEK it took about 10 hours for step 3 (bulk charge) then was on step 4 (trickle charge) for about 6 hours before I had to pull it off. AFAIK, as long as you get to step 4 your battery is at least 80% full and can be used normally.

Battery Charging
I had a 2010 X5M, and now a 2013 X5M.
On each, my multi-step charger generally takes all night to get to the green. When I put it on my 9 year-old 4Runner with the original battery, it takes a couple hours at most to reach full charge. Go figure! |

It's the model with two LED statuses: Half (partially) charged-orange and Fully charged-green. It stayed on the partially charged LED.
