4.8 oil change
I know this may have been covered quite a bit but I have not really gathered up all the information I need to understand through search and google. I plan to do my first DIY oil change on my 2007 4.8 and wanted to know if Mobil One 5w30 will be sufficient other than Castrol Syntec. How do I reset my oil change information (granted I'm doing this after 7500 miles) and what else should I be looking for? I picked up a Hengst BMW branded oil filter a while back and should be good to go in that regard.
Thanks again! |

If your 4.8 runs 5w30 then any quality synthetic will be good. As for resetting the service indicator. There are many YouTube vids which will
Talk you through it. Might as well wait till the 15k service to reset it.
