Bmw X6 Stereo

Hello Fellas, I ordered a BWM X6 35D and I'm waitin for it to arrive here in Kosovo in January, and I also ordered the options of the HIFI SYSTEM 310Watt, I wanted to know your opinion if that is enough of music in the car, because I love to have good music in it.

300 watts is fine in a 3 or 5 series.

However, in the X5/6 with the large cabin the upgraded 600 watt system is required for good sound which is why the BMW engineers have provided it as an option.

Well, I wanted the Premium System too, but the BMW dealer said,''I don't think that you are going to organize a concert on it.'', and he changed my mind:P haha, but maybe that is enough.

ha ha,non taken...my real name is Dejan...i guess you knows what it means,because we use to live in same country almost 20 years age...but to all those who dont know,Deda means Grandfather.

Now about the car..man its almost fully loaded! CONGRATS! you only didnt ordered adaptive drive,which i mean you should...it makes driving expirience much,much better..i think you should order it.

I noticed immediately the difference in sound from my mbenz 126 300se 4dr sedan, when i hooked up the same ipod to my x6. The smaller cabin "muffled" the sound. I doubt that the professional /premium sound is worth spending in that environment. I'd rather spend $$ to improve/update my home theatre sound system, where i can hear what i paid for , then 2 pay for a sytem to fight road noises. ditto the rear seat dvd system. If someone wants to watch movies, get a laptop that u can travel with & use it in the hotel(or anywhere else), once u r checked in.

Thanks for your opinions I considered them and i think the system I ordered will be enough. I have good news becase the dealer infromed me that my car will be ready for transportation on Saturday, can't wait to make the streets unsecure with ma ride:P hahaha

It makes the mirror "darker" when a car pull up behind you when its dark outside. In that way you wont get your eyes dazzle from the car behind.
Its a really sweet thing!

What's an anti dazzle function ?

It uses two light sensors in the rear view mirror (the cabin mounted one). One that 'looks' through the windshield and the other is the little oval/round opening in the top center of the mirror facing the rear window. If a car approaches from behind and the light hitting the rear facing sensor is greater than the light through the windshield, the electronic sends a control signal to 'darken' the mirror. The external mirrors are controlled by the same signal which means they will darken at the same time the inside rear view mirror is darkened.

You can usually tell the difference if a BMW has the 'Anti Dazzle' type mirrors. Those that do NOT have this feature have a blueish tint where the anti dazzle type mirrors look more like regular mirrors. So if you drive behind a BMW and see the bluish exterior mirrors, you know they just have the standard mirrors....
