Maybe it is a repost but I have just spotted it on German M3 site.

Yes, they are going to build it and it will be the most powerfull M in production (according to M-Power World)

2400kg M-Car. I think it is a bit of a joke!

hopefully they will do something about the exhaust and rear bumper, doesn't really fit with rest of car. would need to reshape rear bumper to make it look ok. wonder how many of these they are planning to sell.

i like it,but there will be probable M kit like on x5.

Probably they will start doing it in 2011. . .if crisis is stopped by then.

I had asked my dealer (sales manager) here in Canada, and according to him, BMW Canada so far has elected NOT to import the X6M version. He told me that he had a couple of folks ask about this model already but BMW Canada thinks that there isn't a big enough market in Canada for this model especially considering the current economy. What a bummer. He also said that they might reconsider, but that would largely depend on the current M3 sales figures, that is if the M3 sells as well as their 'forcasts'.

If they were planning to release this car in early summer (wishful thinking here), I would jump on it in a heartbeat!
