Here is a discussion on it from xoutpost - looks like there is a retrofit kit, although when searching the number, tischer doesn't seem to know about it, so may be europe only at this point. It will require some cutting by the looks of it of the bumper and then a trim piece to be glued to the bumper to change the round hole to an oval hole for the tip - also looks to remove the flapper valve which is nice!.
http://www.xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-foru...tml#post791039 It is too bad it isn't like the pre facelift vehicles where you just removed the round hole trim and attached the oval hole trim - was much easier!

I ordered the tips from Tischer, they of course had to order them from germany... I have the part numbers sitting in the back on the X5 along with the parts.
I have yet to have them installed, but I will be soon I hope... Waiting on Matt@Camber-toe to do the installation...

I think I got different tips... But here they are Part # 18-30-2-147-646 & 647... These are the oval tips from BMW that I'm aware of. They were $212 ea, but getbmwparts.com cost was $170 ea.
Website says these tips are from a X5 35d... Wish I had a pic to reference, but this is what i'm aware of this link should provide a look at what I'm talking about http://www.xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-foru...ipe-trims.html
