Reflective side markers

I want to blackout, or replace my ugly amber front reflective markers. The problem is I have the side cameras, so I'm assuming they are somehow attached to the markers. The amber just looks hideous. Any suggestions ?

i also have side view cameras- my bodyshop painted them white- you can see it in my post with the cameras and white markers now instead of amber

Pretty mean truck, or I guess they call them SAVs, you have there. Looks much cleaner with the painted side reflector.

We offer painted reflectors for the X5's with side view cameras. Let me know if you need help.

Why does BMW put these reflectors on in North America but not in Europe? Is there some Federal law requiring a minimum amount of reflected light from the side of a vehicle?

Yes. I forget what the exact requirement is. That's why if you delete it, you can get a ticket. I did that on my E92 and received a warning from an officer about it. I returned my car to BMW with them, and never swapped them back. I plan on deleting the ones on my X5 too. It's the ugliest thing possible on a black vehicle.
