GP Thunder 8500k (35w)at night

hello.so i have a dilemma..i have installed GP Thunder 8500k today and in day time they look good..they both clear white with a bit of a blue to it..when u have only angel eyes turned on its a pleasure to look at..however when u turn on the xenon light, that clear color fades at least on one of them and they starting to look totally different..one is back to yellowish factory color and other one a bit lighter..it seems that the xenon takes away from them that color that we all trying to achive.i was told that if i install LED angel eyes for $150 if will be fine..i sort of seen how it looks..but day time its hard to see any difference..plz help me out..thank you

Just installed a set of GP Thunders (8500K) and am really disappointed with how the whole process went and how it came out. First of the metal tabs were out of alignment and I had to maneuver the lights, now they press hard against the plastic cover on one side. Second, one of the metal tabs was too big to fit into the biggest opening so I had to Dremel the corners of that tab (I spent an hour just trying to fit it in with different angles, nothing worked until I shaved a part of the tab off), I can see that on the original bulb the tab is much smaller and has angled sides where on the GP Thunders the sides are square. But what I was mostly disappointed with is the lack on any improvement, the light still looks kinda yellowish and there's only a very marginal improvement with all the hassles I went through to install it. This is the bulbs I bought, are these v.2s? I asked the seller and he said "I believe so", should it say v.2 somewhere on the box? Thanks...

Those look like the older model. But that's what I had on my E92. I see no difference from the so called new ones I put on my 011 X5. Don't expect them to look like LED rings. It just isn't like that. They improve the color, but it's not like your HiD's.

Unfortunately it's the truth... Guess I'm stuck with the yellowish coronas because I know I wouldn't be able to deal with all the error codes and the fitting of the LEDs in that tiny space with that super short wire.

I have 8500k gp thunder v2 and i love them. Ive never spent a better $16 in my life. Instal was okay. Just need small hands. I didn't expect perfection, for goodness sake I paid with a single $20 bill. They get the Job done plenty fine.

I didn't expect perfection but expected an improvement, would you mind telling me where you got the v.2 Thunders? I might give those a try, feel like I was played and mine aren't v.2s... I really don't want to mess in that tiny space anymore, installing bulbs was enough for me, so unless I get it installed professionally (don't know if it's worth it since the car is a lease).

Maybe they will look better if I code the Euro blinkers so there will be no yellow in the headlight. Will try that first before getting the LEDs.
