anyone know of a way to get the mirrors to auto fold and a way to close the trunk from the inside switch? seems odd this functionality would not be available. thanks

I coded my mirrors to fold using the BMWHAT ap but it won't let me close the trunk

The remote trunk closing option was recently added to BMWhat via the newest version of the app. There is a problem with the app though. It says that it is not fully downloaded and will not let me do coding. I have put in a request to the app developers but have not heard back.

I haven't played around with the app since early summer...I'll give it a try this weekend

I did the close trunk and autofold with Carly on Android. Trunk closes with the button inside. It took a day or 2 then automatically started working. I need to enable the remote now.

Carly (BMWhat) is great! Among other things I coded for the gate to close with both the interior button and the key fob. Now waiting for them to make it possible to stop the steering wheel from retracting every time I turn off the engine.

The gate close coding did not work at first, as mentioned above. I emailed Carly and they told me to do what I had already done. No help. So I tried changing the gate opening angle to one stop less than full open using the settings (not Carly). It worked! Problem was that I could now hit my head on the open gate. Not good so I reset the gate opening angle to full up. It still worked! So all is well.

If you have Carly you need to uninstall and then reinstall to make sure you have the most up to date version. It does not automatically update like other apps. I have the Andriod version. Not sure about the Apple version.

Correct. The truck closing with key fob and interior switch now works if you have an iPhone.
