"Build Your Own" 2011 X5 on bmwusa.com?

Can anyone tell me whether the 2011s and their new features/options are already lodaed onto the "Build Your Own" tool of bmwusa.com and, if not, when should we expect them to be? Thx.

kinda obvious they are NOT yet posted? the new X5s are xdrive35i or xdrive50i.

they will most likely be posted next month when the new LCI X5s start hitting US showrooms.

Probably a dumb question, but what does LCI stand for?

Life cycle impulse.

It is BMW's stupid way of referring to a mid model run style refresh.

i.e. Sight changes in lights, body work etc. to maintain competitiveness with new models from other brands.

From what I have seen, most LCI's add features that should have been standard to begin with.

i.e. BMW has a nasty habit of dumbing down lighting. Then the magically add LED tail lights, flashers, etc.

I posted a similar question in another thread and a poster told me that bmwusa.com updates there site on the 5th of every month. It was confirmed by a couple others, so either we see these updates Wednesday of next week (cinco de mayo), or we're gonna have to wait until June...

Yes, I am also hoping for an update tomorrow and that they will have new lease offers on x5 posted tomorrow as well.

Trying to secure a lease on 2011 x5 and rates are really bad right now.

The update on the web site may be delayed because of the volcano in Iceland.

New F10 5 series is updated on website, X5 is NOT updated...

Stupid BMW NA, just update the website! If you can only order the 2011 X5 at a dealership, you should put it on the web site for customers to help configure their order.

Agree, this is annoying. Now I'm afraid we'll have to wait until June 5th to see an update (maybe)....

Kinda sad with the 2011's starting to show up at dealers and the website isn't even up to date.

BMW sucks and is notorious for not updating their stuff on time. This happens with almost every platform. They need to wake up and get ahead of the game...the configurator needs to be available at least 30 days prior to when the new MY launches.

I think they updated the finance rates on bmwusa.com

Look at all the 2010 models you can get 0.9%... pretty good.

I think BMWNA purposely holds back on the website update so they can have a better chance at clearing out 2010 dealer inventory. Once you go to your dealer and find the 2011, through incentives, they may go and buy a 2010 in dealer stock. I almost did even though I fully knew about the 2011 (35d isn't really that much different). In fact, at the dealer I ordered mine from in Toronto, the 2011 X5 models they had in stock were not even on display yet.

BMW removed the new X5 from their Future Vehicles page so maybe they'll be adding it to the web site soon.

Does anyone know when the new X5 US models will be showing up in the dealer's show rooms?
