Angry WTF Swirl marks on HUD!!!!!

Well not on the actual HUD screen but on the windshield! Anyone seen this before, or know how to get rid of them?

Hmm that's strange, did you try cleaning it with glass cleaner or something? I would contact your BMW service center

The greenhouse effect can super heat the HUD's plastic lens cover, especially based on its location.

So, when you take a damp cloth and wipe the plastic lens it will dry immediately. Thus, it is impossible to clean as you will find nearly indelible watermarks on the HUD's lens.

The trick to fix is easy. Wait until nighttime after everything is cool and you will not have watermarks.

Use a damp cloth (super soft) to get rid of any dried watermarks.

Thanks for the replies guys. To answer some of the questions, 1. Haven't tried to. Sprite it on a picture, probably try today. 2. It's the windsheild that has the swirls, its very clear its not on the HUD's screen. 3. I use "Invisible Glass" cleaner with micro fiber shop towels.
