E70 Angel Eyes Issue
Hello guys,
I am new here. I just have a simple question. I have a 2012 E70 X5 that uses a Philips D1S Xeno for the headlight. The bulb lights up very bright, but the angel eyes (rings) have a low orange color on the left side. Is it one bulb for both the main beam and the angel eyes? If so, what could be the reason the rings don't light up? The right side rings are bright white. Thanks in advance for any insights. |

There is a specificities LED ring for each side (this is separate from the DS1 Headlight bulb); in the LCI models (e.g. 2012) is no longer a bulb
It seems the left side is failing/on its way out https://www.xbimmers.com/forums/show...6&postcount=51 |

no idea, mine is the Pre-LCI model so I just changed the bulbs for brighter ones...so not sure what is required/involved in replacing/fixing the LCI LED based Angel Eyes....

From looking at pictures online, those LED drivers/modules seem to be on the outside of the headlight unit. On the bottom. I would think if you can remove the headlight unit you should be able to replace those LED drivers/modules.
