How do you get to the horns????
I asked this over on outpost and got crickets back.
My passenger side horn is dead. I need to replace it, and will be upgrading it. On my diesel it seems like a challenge to get to. I pulled the passenger bumper vent blank, but there is only room for 1 hand in that hole. Does anyone have instructions on pulling the horn and replacing it? Specifically what do you need to take apart to get to it? I am hoping I don't have to take off the front bumper! |

Sorry, I don't have an answer for you, but wanted to say bumper removal isn't that bad. I had to do it and wrote some tips when asked, see link below. Let me reiterate make sure not to ignore the tabs and attempt to pull the bumper off or else you COULD break the clips/tabs. I slid in old credit cards to release the clips/tabs then pulled bumper off. FWIW.

Awesome info.....and it means I need to remove the bumper.
My 35D has a rad in the drivers side corner so the let side (which is still working) would need the bumper removal. The Ad-Blue Tank is in the passenger side and makes it impossible to get to that horn with any more than 1 hand. So bumper removal here I come. thanks again guys. |
