Check Singh Autosport...they work on all kind of sport and luxury cars and endoresed by many dealers around California. They've been in the business for many years and they seem reliable based on people's experiences. I think one of the members here already used their tune and he was very impressed by the results. They have an ECU tune for 50i engine, which increases the engine's output by 80hp and 516 lbs tq. for around $1,245. The ECU can be bench flashed or we can programme the car via OBD2 (on board diagnostic port). I've spoken with the owner and he seems really nice guy and knowledgeable in this business. Check them out or give them a call...

Give him a call...he's really cool guy and willing to answer any questions, even if your not a customer. I've talked to him a few times and got good info regarding engine tuning. If you go over to their website blog, you'll be amazed at the types of cars they've worked on. They've recently tuned MB SLS, which is apparently the first to be programmed.

Why pay all that money for an M to put 24 inch wheels on it?

Might as well gotten the 35.... The huge heavy wheels will kill your performance.

24 inch wheels

the 22 inch wheels looked to small and i like how the 24inch look, the 24 inch wheels dont really slow the truck down.

why do we do the things we do, because we can

I believe Shiv at Vishnu Tuning plans to start work on tuning a 550i soon. I'm guessing that tune could work on the X5 50i as well.

you can now use these modules ( no more messing with wires or pulling the dash apart) to enable the dvd / tv while driving option, just plug it into the OBD port in your car, press the button and it's done..

link: http://cgi.ebay.de/TVfree-DVD-und-TV...07579588565348

btw i did talk to pro chip, and yes their module works on x5's as long as they are installed with the idrive system profesional
