No, these are slip on style. You need the bolt on style for the e70 x5m.

Even with the right VRSF downpipe for the X5M, they don't fit right, unless they have modified them. There you go, I have warned you.

Lci is slip on. I found out these are from 550i and should fit. If not I'll make it fit.

And yea all n63 are a pain in the ass and it seems bmw changed the style a few times

Probably going to need to weld it on the exhaust because the slip on ends are not even tapered down to slip inside.

Ok so long story short I made these fit into an E70 X5M using the factory slip fit connection on the exhaust.

Long story. E70/E71 X5M and X6M are two bolt flange style downpipe. I’m convinced that’s the case regardless of build date as the 2013 I put these in had a flanged downpipe. At some point BMW decided to add a slip fit exhaust connection portion (about 6-8 inches after the exhaust flange) to the E70/E71 M’s, however the downpipes are still a two bolt flange style.

Getting these to fit required cutting/grinding off the bracket into which the flanged downpipes go into. What a pain in the ass. Once the bracket was cut off the downpipes fit like a glove into the factory exhaust where the slip connection and exhaust clamp are.

If you are considering downpipes for your E70/E71 X5M or X6M check for the flange portion. If it exists like it does on my 2013 then you must use flanged style downpipes regardless if the slip connection exists at the exhaust, or you’re in for a headache.
