New Introduction - X6 40d Individual

Hi All,

Just like to introduce myself, my name is Paul, I’m originally from the UK but now live in Germany, I usually frequent the M5 board (or did before work made me too busy) as I also have a AC Schnitzer e64 M6 Convertible, my other car for the last 9 years has been an e53 face lift X5 which I have to say was / is a great car, however that is now looking to be sold as I have just purchased a BMW X6 40d individual (sapphire black champagne individual interior) 3 weeks ago, first impressions are impressive as would of thought with BMW, the only thing at the moment which is shocking me in the MPG, I only drive 20 miles a day but so far I’m only getting 17.9 MPG…!!, granted my drive is only 10 minutes and no long drives and admittedly I drive like “miss daisy” but do the same drive I used to get 28 MPG from the X5 and I’m getting 14.5 MPG from the M6…..!! so I must be doing something wrong with these two turbos. Anyway looking forward to learning more about the e71, below is the spec and some pics.

Note the car has already started the mods, with it currently being in the shop having the M-Style from lip added, hamann, roof, boot, and bumper added. Within the first day of ownership the mods began with the angel eyes & fog lights changed to white, M aluminium Side sills, carbon eyebrows, carbon door pillars fitted & hamann pedals along with aprakovic carbon tail pipes.

As soon as the bodykit is fitted I will post new photos (sorry about the quality but it’s from my blackberry (I don’t own a decent camera).

Then follow the next mods of H&R Springs (-45mm) and 22" Breyton LS matt black alloys with 295's fronts and 335 rearsl.
