Average Wait Time After Order?
Hello, hope all are doing well. I just ordered my Alpine White X6 and was told that I would have to wait a month, 6 weeks at the most. After reading through a number of posts, I've found that many owners had to wait a couple of months. Is there something the sales person isn't telling me? Should I expect a longer wait, or take his word that I should have my baby in early Feb? What were some of your experiences on wait time? Thank you for any feedback. (and of course I will post pics the minute I get my baby!)

If you go to a dealer to order a new car built and delivered in the U.S. the wait is 6-8 weeks. This assumes...
1. The dealer has an allocation 2. The car you picked is currently being built. 3. You are not waiting for any new funky options that may delay manufacturing. German cars built for the U.S. can take a few more weeks due to shipping. Any one waiting longer is due to choice. i.e. waiting for next model year, or some new funky option. Anyone waiting 9 months does not even have an order in. BMW won't accept orders until they are ready. You can however be on a waiting list for orders.
