2014 x6 n63

My wife bought a 2014 X6 5.0xdrive with an N63 engine last July so we've had it about 1 year. It literally drinks oil. I know twin turbo engines, especially BMWs, go thru oil but we're putting in a quart every 750 miles or so. I called the BMW dealership here to get them to do a oil consumption test. They weren't sure if I had to pay or if it was on them. I stayed on hold for 30 minutes and finally hung up. I figured I would ask on here if anyone knew? I know there was a class action lawsuit but isn't there a customer care package that covers it?

Thanks in advance.

Rob
