challenged by a 2020 charger?! can I win?
My coworker challenged me to a 0-60 race and he drives a 2020 dodge charger r/t. I drive a 2013 x5 n55 35i w/ MHD Stage 2 e30, charge pipe, intercooler, and bms intake. His charger is stock except for exhaust. What do u guys think? Can I take him? Do I absolutely need a downpipe to win?

He's significantly lighter than you and his stock HP is 370. What's your estimate of your vehicle's HP? I suspect that he'd win easily.

Assuming he is stock, I think you will beat him 0-60 but he will take you in the 1/4 mile...just barely.
Looking at draggy times, it appears most 35i's are in the 5.2-5.6 second 0-60 with similar mods as yours. Stock RT Chargers are in the 5.6-5.8 range. Its going to be a good fight and really come down to traction and the launch. You having all wheel drive gives you an instant advantage. Keep us posted what happens. |

ok race is in an hour....i need help bad...i timed my 0-60 using a timer on my phone and its fucking 6.5-7 seconds. Its because of my launch. It feels like it takes a second or two for the turbo to kick in...Why?! I have xhp and mhd stage 1+ 93oct(with xhp selected). 2013 x35i n55 w/ fmic cp and bms intake
What are the best settings to better my weakness which is launch? Don't I just press foot on the brake then floor it to get rpms up, then let go of brake when its time to go? I feel like its my xhp settings, what is the absolute best settings for xhp n55 and which settings is turning off a must? |
