Not a particularly interesting review. The sound from the v10 is great though

But seriously the interior door panel design is awkward on the e60

Always loved this car, looking to get into one as soon as I can! Hopefully the video won't drive the price of them up

Pretty sure the manual was offered from the 07-10.

They only produced around 5,000 of them total in their lifespan for the US. Of those around 1,000 were manual if I'm correct. Finding them should be a little more difficult.

I've owned a silverstone e60 M5. Manual. Loved it. The transmission felt the same as my e92 M3 did. It felt little underpowered VS an SMG m5 I drove but the manual just felt better.

BMW M GmbH produced a total of 1,364 examples (including six pre-production vehicles) of the E60 M5 sedan with the 6-speed manual gearbox, all exclusively for the USA and Canada.

I went from a 2010 M5 (Chrome wrapped and meisterschaft exhaust) to a 2013 S6 and now the 340i. I still miss the highway pulls from 80mph. The acceleration on the top of the Power band was amazing. But im in colorado and here my 340i would walk it from a stop light. If you live in a high altitude region a turbo is far superior to naturally aspirated when we are talking performance. What i would love to see would be BMW compete with the R8, lambo and NSX by putting the S85 in the I8 as a hybrid. Imagine a updated version of the S85 and an electric engine good for a combined 750HP and 650lbs tq paired to a dual clutch tranny. One can dream....

Please tell me you're kidding, the E60 has a lower resale value that the E39. The manual was slower than the SMG model, but at least down the road it'll save the average owner 5-10k in repairs. That's the only good thing about that car. It's a perfect example of what happens when manufacturers allow the public to dictate what they should build. The transmission gearing was wrong for that engine.

In North American spec BMW M GmbH built 9,491 M5 Sedans and production was from 09/2005 through 12/2009.

so technically an E90 M3 LCI with 6MT is more rarer than E60 M5 6MT, 1336 global production (1055 US/Canada and 281 rest of Worldwide)

anyhow, love E60 M5 6MT, love how Matt says about this car, SMG1 SMG2 DCT PDK things will always be upgraded and changed, but 6MT is just a 6MT, that's it. will be a classic BMW in the future

Interior and exterior of this Bmw style is blah.
Yeah, I wish the 5er stayed this size with the F10 styling though
