M track days down in Miami

An invite email went out a few months ago and the slots filled up almost fully the first day. I am not sure how they determined who got invited to go.

You had to sign up.

Yeh I only got 1 out of the many that I did. It wouldn't share or download on my iPad so maybe one day i will remember to access while in front of a computer.

Great event. A friend and I just showed up there this morning and they had some extra space fortunately.

For anyone that didn't get to go to this, BMW also has a couple more days of a car event next Monday and Tuesday at Homestead. I think it will be pretty similar, just not specific to M cars. Probably still worth going.

If you get paired up during the laps around the track, I found the second set of laps (second driver) was always a bit faster. Probably since the second driver got a feel for the track and car from the passenger seat first. So if you want to go a little faster, drive second.

Have a great time out there.
