x5m engine cover removal?
does anyone have a picture or instruction on how to get the back plastic engine cover off ?
Trying to swap/check o2 sensors

There are four plastic pins on the cover (one on each corner) that insert into rubber grommets. Just carefully pull up on a corner and work your way around.
Be careful not to lose the rubber grommets. I lost one and it cost $0.75 to eplace at the BMW dealer. Parts dude said he'd never sold a OEM BMW part that cheap! |
