Brake question

hi guys,

i have a set of Brembo that i want to put on my X6, when i take it to the profeesional they actually told me not to change my factory brake to Brembo, the reason for that is due to the heavy body weight of X6 might easily casue Brembo's brake disc to crack?? can someone clarify this? thanks!!

btw, can someone post some pics of your X6 with brembo, and the size of them?

heavier suv's will cause the brakes to warp or bend. Not sure about breaking, but you will definitely be replacing or repairing frequently. Besides bmw brakes are awesome. I doubt brembos will add much noticeable difference to your vehicles safety or function other than looks. Upgrade to some Pagid pads instead, then you would get slightly better fade resistance if using on track.

Cheers
