Shipping winter wheels with car ( BMW x5m)

My question is related to shipping a set of spare wheels or tires when you ship a vehicle from one location to another , precisely from USA to Canada.

Is it possible to have a set of used tires stuffed in the car . Any concern of damaging the vehicle or custom/excise .

I have a set of Bridgestone deuler that I don’t want to throw . Anyone experienced in this ?

Not exactly, but I'm pretty sure it depends on the carrier and I can't speak to cross border concerns. But... I shipped a Miata with a trunk full of stuff. Research indicated some carriers will prohibit meaningful weight "added" to the vehicle, but many are ok as long as it fits in the trunk.
