Funny... Sorry... I've been emailing Vishnu about this for 6 months, last one was a couple weeks ago, and they said they were no where close to releasing one. I know I'm in a X5 N55, but the New X6 and X5 both share the same transmission and engine.. Funny they provide contradicting information.. Not doubting what they told you, but funny none the less..

I have a procede sitting collecting dust, that i used to have on my 335, and I've been waiting since july of last year to put it on my X5...

Currently running the JB3 Stg 1, and it works flawless...

Guess i'll email vishnu again and see what they say now..

Update, received email from Robert@vishnu on the N55 X5/X6/535 tune and I am copying/paste:

Still not yet. We still haven't got a car we can use for an extensive period of time.

Quoting Johann <@gmail.com>:

Robert,
Any updates? Any luck getting a N55 X5/X6/535 to get some further testing and development in? Any eta's, etc... Just wanted to get an update

Thanks

-----------------
Yes i'm using the Jb3 N55 Stg 1 tune... There is a dffererence between it and stock. The lag is less for one.

I'm not saying the JB3 is the only option.

You do have the option of going with a Flash Tune. Two drawbacks on this are 1. You would have to physically remove the ECU/DME and send it to the flash tuner so they can Benchload your ECU/DME. 2nd Drawback is that if you go to the dealer and they for some reason have to flash your car, your flashtune will be wiped out and you have to once again, remove your ECU/DME and send to tuner for flash again. Most of the tuners won't charge you for the re-flash, but you do have to pay for shipping again...

Is that's a piggyback or ecu reflash??? If that tune is a piggyback then why is it almost three times more expensive than the jb3 stage 1 ?????

340whp and 370wtq, thats much higher than jb3, going to wait for procede to come out before deciding which to get

I wonder why they are giving me the 'run around' so to speak. They tell you its close to release, they tell me they have no vehicles to do long term testing on... WTF... Excuse my reaction.. Just seems rather F'd up that they give one answer to me and another to you... Guess I'll just wait and see and keep my procede for another year until they do 'release' something.

Seems they have different answer for different people, but I guess I will just keep waiting.

N55 stage 2 tuning from BMS is being worked on for the F10 535 - the car shares many similarities with our E7X platform... cross your fingers. The Stage 1 tune works fine for now though.......but the stage 2 will have autoclear (to run catless DP without codes).

Any Updates on this situation? Did they release any flash tunes on the X6 N55 engine yet? i still can only find piggybacks, and from what i hear, its cause companies have not broken the security wall on the ECU yet. One ive heard has actually done it is VR tune, but they say their tuning box has more gains then the flash tune...

I've been looking too. I thought there was a factory upgrade chip but cant find it on BMW's website. Dinan offers a stage 2 for $1999:

Does anyone know about a factory upgrade? Was hoping to find one on sale for Black Friday
