2010 vs 2011 nav question

Hey guys,
New to this forum. I was thinking about getting into a 2010 or 2011 X5. I thought I heard something about the navigation was bad in one of them. Do either of the 2010 or 2011 have the "bad" navigation or iDrive system? I'd like to eliminate that year as an option, if it is.

2009 was the last year of the "old" idrive.
