Best angel eye bulbs to go for during sunny days?
Summers approaching and I've still got the atrocious halogen bulbs on my '09 X5, there are probably 100's of threads on the subject I know but I need to find one set that are next to OEM, they need to be bright enough so that you can see them easily during sunny days, my 2013 M5 has xenon headlights and it's white daytime running lights can be seen from a mile away, some of these bulbs I've seen can't be visible from practically 2 foot, pics of some DRL on a sunny day would be very much appreciated.

Forget about aftermarket bulbs. It's not worth your money. The LEDs light up the inner coronas, but leave the outer coronas looking dim. Might as well buy some proper halogen H8 bulbs from PIAA, they have 6000K bulbs now.
If you really want to make the investment, then just retrofit the 2012 headlights that have the real LED OEM coronas. Don't let anyone tell you that ANY bulb, whether LED or halogen, will make your X5 look like the OEM LEDs. Nothing comes close to it. |
