Squeaky multi contour seats?

So my new multi contour seats, at least the driver's seat, are very noisy. They squeak pretty bad when they flex at all but very noticeable when accelerating. Extremely annoying!

Anyone else's do this?

Interesting that you mention the "squeak" My multi-contour (driver) was driving me nuts (driver's only). In for a snow tire exchange... I asked them to take a look at the seat (quite a removal job they told me). Said that BMW had already issued a service bulletin on the "squeak". Quiet now. Have at it. 2011 X5 5.0i M-Sport/Dinan - Carbon Blk/Oyster

Do you know by chance what they did to correct it? Mine is driving me nuts!

Squeak noise from everywhere in mine to the point that is embarrassing
to take people in the car very disappointing! for an expensive car like this!

Exactly how I feel and mine is getting worse.

Mine is squeaking as well. I can tell it is coming from the bottom right of the seat.

Ok, so there are many unhappy customers with the multicontour seats, but any happy ones? I ask because I just ordered mine on Saturday so I can still delete that, I suppose!

I love the seats. 3rd one with them and they are a must!

Had a small noise on my previous 535d when the sides moved but it cured it selves.

Noisy seats now put to rest due to dealership fix. Bout 2,000 mi. ago ... no recurrence. Then again... may be as result of the Dinan exhaust system (kidding).

It's kind of funny. I complained about it for months but completely forgot about it until reading this.

Got my squeaky seat fixed and here is what the dealer said:

Thanks for posting this. I have an X5M in route to me w/ the Multi Contour seats so if they make noise I'll know what to do.

I also had squeaking problem but it came from the rubber door seals. Dealer put clear Teflon tape around the inside if the sill and it silenced it considerably, but only temporarily. I now apply silicone spray after I wash it and it silences the squeaking but again only temporally. Kinda frggin annoying for a $100k car....

On the plus side, my multi contour seats are quiet....for now....

I'd love to know if I'm the only guy with this problem. Also, if anyone has a permanent fix or got a better dealer response, please by all means share it.....
