Problems with Comfort Access - help!
Yesterday, the comfort access started acting crazy on our 2011 x5. I opened the right rear door to put my son in the carseat and the car kept locking and unlocking, like non-stop. the key was in my pocket (usual location). I did not inadvertently have my hand on the doorhandle. It seemed like just having the key in proximity was repeatedly activating the CA feature (without touching the sensitive areas on the door handle).
I have never had problems with CA before and the battery is working fine. I will call the service guys later, just wondering if I'm missing something obvious here. Help?

sorry no updates yet - the SA had no ideas. The problem stopped, of course, so maybe it was related to water content near the handle.

I figure it acts like a Windows PC lol, you input your command several times, it does not react while your commands being stored into memory. When it finally wakes up and opens it plays back all of your inputs simultaneously, a fast open-close sound several times in a row. |
