What engine do you have? For example the n63/s63 engines have 4 boost pressure sensors. Two on the Intercoolers and two on the lower intakes.

So the problem is the code is a generic code and with 4 sensors to choose from, you need to narrow it down to which one. You will need to use a laptop loaded with ISTA to test all of the sensors. A scan tool like the foxwell 510 loaded with BMW software might be able to do it also but I am not 100% certain.

I would assume its one of the sensors are the lower intakes, which are pretty difficult to get to, especially the drivers side. I have found removing the tire and pulling off the front inner fender well makes it much easier to access.

As I mentioned before though, you need to run some tests as it could be a wiring issue to and not the sensor itself. Load ISTA on a laptop or if you have the cash, just buy a laptop off Ebay with it already loaded and the D-CAN cable. ISTA is not very intuitive but is incredibly powerful and a must for every do-it-yourselfer.
