Water pump class action suit
I received a letter for a class action suit settlement for BMW's defective electronic water pump. My 2013 e70 failed in 2017 at around 60,000 mi. Cost me $1,400 at the BMW dealer because we were on vacation when it failed and we had no choice. I looked up my VIN on the settlement website and it indicated my vehicle was not eligible. Back when it failed I thought I read somewhere that 2013 E70s with assembly dates before a certain date had the defective pumps. I can't find that information now. Mine was assembled a few months before that date. Does anybody have any information on this?
Information on the settlement can be found here. https://www.enginewaterpumpsettlemen...and%20adequate. |

X5 man I think you solved my problem. I was actually looking up my VIN on the VW website. Thank you!
