I'm considering an intercooler upgrader in conjunction with a tune and delete. Anyone have a testimonial to share? ATM offers a nice looking one, but ebay also has a kit for considerably cheaper and with more complete looking piping... Please help.

The popular belief is that you don't need an intercooler upgrade unless you are making BIG power. A regular tune/delete will be completely fine w/ stock. You will get boost leaks though, so the stock turbo outlet and charge air hose will need to be upgraded.

That being said, the cheapo versions get a lot of love in the NABDOG group on FB. The ATM one I'm sure is great too but you might get it in six months or so.

While the ebay intercooler itself should work the charge pipe looks like its for an N55. Based on that I would assume the hot side piping is also for N55. Not sure how a rigid pipe would work with mounting on the hot side anyway, the flexible one is already a pain.
