What is that option button

There are about 5 buttons just below the single cd in the center console. The button all the way to the left. What is it? Looks like a seat.

It's for the seat massager in the drivers seat.

In all the cars I have been looking at, I have yet to see a button for front camera.

You're right. There's no button for it. But you can access it after accessing the rear camera. The first menu option I think will enable the front cameras.

The side view camera (located on the corners of the front bumper) was a standalone option on the X5M - they don't all have it. No camera...no button. The active seat button will not always be present either - only if the vehicle is equipped with the Active Ventilated Seat Package.

You were right about the buttons. All makes sense now.

Also, the massager seems useless. I turned it on and I fell something moving but not all that great. Thanks again!

What is? The sideview cameras? I actually think it's quite handy when you're pulling out of a carpark or a small street and you have no way to see if there are cars coming.

Or you pull up to a light and want to look at who is standing on the corner...
