Jb4 stage 1 &a transmission

Hello all,

I recently put the jb4 stage 1 in my e70 x5m. It gives the truck a bit more low end torque which is only adding to the pleasurable driving experience that is the e70 X5M. My question is for the guys that have tunes or have full jb4, what have you guys done about the transmission. It seems to me that this transmission's only goal is to get to 6th gear and get there quickly. Obviously that's for efficiency but I'm curious if there's anything I can do about that seeing as that's killing the experience unless I'm in sport mode.

I've seen some "plug in" tuners that supposedly change the TCU mapping. Does any one have any experience with those?
