Automated system updated, vehicle is released to carrier and is awaiting transportation! Late next week is looking like a real posibility. If I take delivery next week it will be exactly 4 weeks. Not bad at all and def worth the wait considering I will get exactly what I want.

Another status update, online it says that my vehicle is already at the prep center. I called the 800 number still says released to carrier and is waiting transportation. When I talked to a human, he says the vehicle is in fact at the prep center!

Well I am assuming it's the one in SC, because this morning when I call the 800 number status says that vehicle was released to carrier and is being transported. If the vehicle was at the prep center in SC, do you think it will have to go to prep center in NJ also? Seems like it would go directly to dealer at this point, at least that's my logic.

Ask your dealer what is the production week for your car. they should have that. It normally follows that. Mine was to be completed in week of 33 which is this Saturday, and by tomorrow it will be completed.

How are you getting order status code? I am asking because when I call BMW NA system just tells me that car is in production and completion date is 8/19 but not code.

My build week is 35, but my CA said that the build week doesn't matter because BMW automatically bumps the order up as soon as a customer's name is added to the order. Anyone know if that's true?

My car has been released to the carrier as of today. Took exactly 17 days to build the car from time of order. My dealer said, I should get the car next wednesday. So it seems from time of order, it takes approximately 4 weeks.

IK117, my X6 was finished 8/10 and was at the dealership by 8/14. Since you are on the west coast, I would say a week and a half. 8/31 is probably a really good estimate.
