Coilover Install
Hi guys,
Trying to decide the best place to have my KW V3s installed. I'm sure there are good independent shops, but what I was hoping for was feedback on the risks associated with a less then perfect install. Are they really that difficult to install? I know quite a few forum members have done them on their own, but I'm not that mechanically inclined. I want to try an Indy shop, but have no prior experience with this particular one. Thoughts? make sure the shop or whoever you are going to has a big spring compressor and not one of these
These once will damage and scratch your top hats for the front |

Any reputable shop using some off the shelf compressor such as that is not a reputable shop ;O)
I can buy those from harbor freight for about $14, and will work about 10-15times before stripping the threads. The Sears brands are only slightly better. A good shop has a floor mounted compressor that looks like a press. Regardless, there are plenty of reputable places in the greater Chicago area
