My first BMW and I LOVE IT!!!

Hey everybody... I just bought a lightly used 2005 BMW X5 4.8is and its absolutely amazing. I've been an Audi guy over the years and thought the "ultimate driving machine" mantra was just a clever marketing tag line but the first time I drove my new X5 I realized that there really is something special about BMW... I'm hooked!

Since I'm new to the BMW world, feel free to give me a heads up if there's anything I need to know... specifically anything related to the X5 4.8is... thanks!

Congrats man! My first Bimmer was a 4.8is and I loved it, such an awesome truck. Best of luck with it, take care of that beast. Did you get a CPO warranty with it?

Good to hear! Warranty saved my ass on rotors and the airbag suspension and will most def save you too! Any pics??!

X Factor....I'm there with you, brother. I just purchased a lightly used 2007 X5 3.0si. I've wanted a BMW for years, and I can say that I'm glad I finally bit the bullet. Love the ride, the feel, the handling, and the quiet on the road.
