Staggered, so front rims are 8" and rears are 8.5"

Bummer, shop says they can't get 8" winter tires on 8.5" safely.

you should find a new shop. i had a square set of 225 winter tires on my staggered 162's (same widths as 189's)

Discount tire but mine on 19x9 et24 225 35 19...the manager had no issue as well but he made a bet that my setup will rub since im running aggressive offsets. Rears were 19x10 et 24 w/ 265 30 19. I told them I had 20x9 and 20x10 et 25 in the rear with 285 30 20 and this is nothing.

Def. need to find a new shop. They told me it would a slight stretch and I was cool with it.
