Pepboys aka fuckboys

So I take my car to pepboys so they can reset my brake light since I just had my brakes done. I get the car back its all fine and dandy. All of a sudden I'm driving Down the highway "boom" my brake light and traction control light come on. I get to a light restart the car, the lights are gone. Then later that day my car has trouble cranking. It eventually started up and I bring it back to see what they fucked up. They say oh everything looks good l. Took it to bmw they say no codes come up. But now my check engine soon light come on and off. Also my rpms jump around as I stop, while in idling the car cuts off., it's ridiculous. Going to have bmw have then Check it out again. Ugh learned my lesson don't use pepboys for anything. Not even to air up your tires

This makes me feel like I'm talking to an old homey from the days but since its all abt the respect and purity, I'd say in the most acceptable Finnish rapper voice there is: Boom.

Landed.

I find it funny when people service their own cars. In older cars yes, it can be done and I did it too. Im 33 and now if given the opportunity to drive the car I did all that at the age of 18, and a million bucks if I can meet a speed limit for a hundred miles, I'd be glad to walk home.

The man who sells you tyres ans your mechanic. Suck up to them more than you do with the inlaws.

Oh fuck, I might be 34.

No, not yet I think

It's also possible you have unrelated issue and should figure out before pointing fingers.

I don't see how them reseting the light could make it hard to crank or have the rpms jumping.

Come on man. Don't kid yourelf and act like you didn't ask for it lol.

If you replaced the brakes AND THE BRAKE WEAR SENSOR CORRECTLY; it truly takes about 30 seconds to reset it and have the forecast reading again correctly. There was no need to visit Pepboys.

There's nothing Pepboys can even do to affect your car in that manner unless they decided to unplug a bunch of connectors on your engine harness because you looked at them funny.

Are you saying that I understood the shop name incorrectly?

And how do you not look unfunnily at men fixing cars while naked? The natural instinct is to save any hanging body parts.

Now I am indeed confused.

Idk I'm not expert to be honest. I just know I replaced rotor, brakes, pads, and sensors. But I couldn't get my brake light to go away
