Shit....!!! Engine failure light on after decatting and remapping.....

Just did 300 miles and the light is on.......and stays on............

Neither issues nor worries on the truck, but i'd love to turn it off. Just read an article concerning this problem and the solution for that guy was to install something called "Mini-cats"...........???

Some advices??? Some simillar experiences???

Regards!!!

By the moment, the light is off. I checked the car today at Bosch car service and they managed to turn off.....

you have to make sure your tune has bypass the post cat oxygen sensor or it will trigger the Engine light because your car will thinks the cats is bad.

Thanks!

Anyway, is there any other option to turn the light off??? Keep in mind Spain is not a "high" tuners school and in my case, my truck was the first to be remapped...........

My local dealer who managed my full exhaust line (SS) is keeping in contact with Super Sprint Headquarters to see if there's any solution.

Otherwise, the truck runs smooth and powerful. I don't feel any downgrade on the road..........

You can try the defouler method, which is an extension to put the oxygen sensor further away from the exhaust gas. But no guarantee it woks on this truck
