New Owner, Blacking out advice
Hello everyone, just pulled the trigger on this 2009 X5 xDrive48i with Saddle Brown interior. I am looking to convert it to a blacked out look. My plan is to get the windows tinted, black kidney grill, tinted reflectors etc. I am wondering if anyone has some good advice on what will give my X5 I am looking for as far as wheels go. Any advice on a nice set of black wheels/tire set would be is greatly appreciated. Also I am very interested in getting an aero kit and am wondering where the best place to buy one is. I would love to see some of your pics if you guys have been through this process and what your finished product looks like! Thanks guys!

I think the "murdered out" look is a bit old hat these days, but if you're up for it, why not something like this?
Just get some fender flares along with some clean OEM 20s or 21s, and PRESTO, you're done. |

Like already said, fender flares are a must and make a huge difference visually. As for wheels, I do like style 214's and I've seen them come black from the factory.
I got my aero kit on eBay, replica that fits really well for like $180? Paint and install was extra.

These are old pictures, I now have black BMW style 167 wheels on it and the aluminum running boards have been swapped out for all black side skirts.
BMW style 214 are the wheels in these pictures, I use them as my winter wheels now. I added wheel spacers after these were taken. A less glamorous shot This is with 22". HRE wheels but you can see the black side skirts and the tint in this picture. The tail lights were don't with the lightest tint the shop had.
