Not really Scorpion Zero's are about $312/tire (335/25/22) at tirerack which is pretty reasonable.

Yea the pirelli summer tires are over $700 per tire in this size so the pirelli scorpion zeros are a great all weather performer and a nice quiet comfortable tire. No complaints and love the wide fitment.

Skunk, your X5 was, and still is, my source for motivation in modding my own X. The profile with the drop, the wheels, etc.....gave me a vision, so thanks for paving the way for me (..and the referral to Ray). It's looking good man!

..and yeah, the Zero's are relatively quiet for an all season tire. I read reviews about "horrendous noise", but I can't say that I have experienced that AT ALL, and I'm 1500 miles in.

Thanks guys. Just went for a clean OEM style look. Once I start looking into the aftermarket on my previous cars, I just dump tons of money into the car and hate driving it because I worry to much about it being ruined.

This thing, on the other hand is a daily driver that looks clean and classy (other than the exhaust which I am modifying shortly to tone down slightly since it's been this way for awhile).

They are custom X6M style 300m replicas in 22" (rather than OEM 20" and are machined face with gunmetal barrel and inner spokes. They are also available in full black.)

If interested as stated above by sedan_clan, Ray @ http://www.wheeltech.com knows his stuff and has great package prices on this setup and others.

Looks great.
Those wheels will look good if they are black diamond or gunmetal.

No, the pano roof visor is open and the front windshield is letting alot of light in so it seems that way from the brighter pics.

15% all around except windshield.

Majority of the wheel is gunmetal; the exception being the face.

How many threads are showing on the H&R end links? I like the stance you have and trying to adjust mine to that level.
Thanks

Looks great I have HREs but I am starting to think the cleaner OEM look is the way to go on X5s

Thanks
I'm using aftermarket links in the rear from http://loweringlinks.net/Product_Line.html

not the ones included with the H&R's

I have the car sitting at 30 3/4" from the ground to the center of the fender all around.

I chose to use them because they were a more solid link not sure if they went lower I forget what the h&r ones look like. Just be careful not too lower it too much because the ride really becomes unbearable around 30 1/2 and below. Aim for a touch under 31"

these are the ones I'm referring to.

Body shop did them for me. The tail lights are painted. Although can't recommend they place that did them as I wouldn't go back. The paint came out alright but they joy rode my car all over town...

I will also share my exhaust setup for those interested here as well.

I ordered from amazon.

Buy this X pipe (replaces stock H-pipe):

Cherry Bomb 429835

and 2 of these mufflers (replaces the 2 front resonators):

Cherry bomb 87529

then have them remove the rear muffler but keep the stock tips.

As for exhaust shop I can recommend these guys whole heartedly. American Muffler in Westbury, NY. Call ahead for an appointment they are always slammed.

The amazon links don't seem to work, unless it's just me?
