Heading back on march 5th for them to finish up some work on it and we'll record some sound clips then... Giving it a couple weeks to settle, see if I like the sound or if we need to modify it a little (add resonator).

Ill tell ya, The only thing harder than getting aftermarket support for the n55 X5 is getting support for the X3 n55. Ive gotta go custom on almost everything but the tune. JB3/4 should work if I use one from the 535 or x5 right?

JB3 Stage 1 is compatible with the X3, but not Jb4 Stage 2... Terry @ BMS doesn't have any plans to support Stage 2 for the X series or 535 as of yet...
RSI Tuning has a DP for the 535 which is compatible with the X5, not sure if it'll work with the X3... Check em out I just got a Custom FMIC installed this past weekend (at the same place that did my Custom Exhaust)..

Some pics of the mods I have gotten... Undershot of the X with the Exhaust and some pics of the New FMIC, which is a beast compared to the stock one...

Hey, know this has been inactive for a little bit but what was the story with everything? Just got a 2012 and am looking for an exhaust system to replace the stock with. Can anyone recommend anything? Might be looking for a tune later on also, can anyone tell me anything about that?
thanks |
