35i n55 noise after turning off
Has anyone experienced this issue before , youtube link below. The noise is intermittent and comes around months in between.

It’s likely your Valvetronic eccentric shaft actuator. It resides under your valve cover. It’s a $1500 repair at a good independent shop or less than $300 for the motor and new valve cover gaskets to DIY. It’s a major PIA to DIY primarily due to all the crap on top of the valve cover.

My valvetronic eccentric went bad over 40k miles ago this noise is not coming from it's location . Valve cover done in the past, so ill wait for another leak to get it done.
